When we look at how colours can affect our emotions, pink can be really positive for use across the bathroom. It provokes things like calmness and relaxation, which we believe makes it perfect for injecting into your bathroom space. Alongside this, pairing it with a white suite can help to open a space up, brightening the overall palette of the area, and making it appear larger than it actually is.

A darker, richer peach toned pink will provoke playfulness and energy, and so is the perfect way to wake yourself up in the morning, to be ready for the day ahead of you. With complimentary black accents, you can create a chic modern space in your new colourful bathroom, creating a sense of luxury and expense.

– Be Bold with Bright Blues

If you’re looking for a darker and moodier bathroom, then look no further, a deep blue shade is perfect for achieving this. The darker blue creates a sense of safety and security, soothing the mind and putting you at ease, perfect for when we need a relaxing soak after a long hard day. A darker shade of blue is also another way of creating that opulent feeling in your bathroom design, try combining it with different shades of hardware, for example black or gold, to enhance this even further.

Just like light pinks can, lighter shades of blue, when paired with bright whites, can allude to a larger and airier space. Additionally, just like a darker shade of blue does, when light blue is used in the bathroom it evokes calmness and serenity. What more could you want for your now beautiful colourful bathroom?

– Go Natural in Your Bathroom

If colourful bathroom walls aren’t quite what you’re looking for, try implementing some of your colour of choice in the flooring you use. Colour doesn’t have to be reserved for the walls, using it in your flooring can be a bold way of creating depth in your space, and letting your personality shine through. For example, we’ve paired our Monaco Grey vanity furniture with this gorgeous geometric pink flooring, which compliments the rest of the bathroom beautifully.

If the bright and bold colours aren’t for you, maybe woods and neutral tones are more your thing. In our example, we’ve introduced wooden panelling to create a relaxing and spa-like atmosphere in the bath space. When thinking about how to decorate our bathrooms, the general aim is to create somewhere we can go to settle down and unwind, and a neutral palette is a sure way of achieving this.
